Enjoyed another week at Scott’s Pine, despite the damp weather. Cottage was warm and cosy and excellent place to return to after days walking. Easy access by foot into Keswick. Everything you need for a comfortable stay was at hand. Large comfy beds and bathroom. Will be returning next year.

Scots Pine is a lovely cottage, very well equipped with everything you need for 4 people. The only thing missing was an ice cube tray so we donated one. One of the best cottages we have ever stayed in and hope to go back as loved it and Keswick.

We had a wonderful week at Scots pine. The location was perfect especially as we could walk into Keswick for shopping or the start of a walk. The cottage is very well equipped and needs no room for improvement as it is lovely as it is. Due to the location we didn’t need to use the cars as much as normal. Would highly recommend.

Another lovely stay at Scots Pine. We think this was our sixth visit and we don’t usually stay at the same place twice! However, we are reluctant to tell too many people about it because we may find it is fully booked when we want to come next time!

This was our 2nd stay at Scots Pine (last 3 years ago). Lovely property very well equipped, clean and comfortable, spacious, and pleasant out front seating for the sunny/ warmer days. Great location, peaceful and yet only 10-15 mins walk into town centre. Many thanks for the welcome pack. Highly recommended and we will stay again in the near future

We enjoyed our stay at Scots Pine very much, it is a beautiful spacious property in a lovely spot about a 15 minute walk away from the centre of Keswick. The house was supplied with everything you could need (and more) including a lovely welcome hamper. The furnishings in the house were lovely, we felt the property was even nicer than it looks in the photos! We have stayed in Keswick on many occasions and this has been our favourite property, we would love to return and would recommend to others.

This was our second visit to this beautiful property, and we’ve had a wonderful week again. It’s so comfortable and relaxing that Storm Bert didn’t bother us at all! All in all, we’ve done reasonably well with the weather, and we’ve been out walking most days in the area around Derwent Water. Lovely atmosphere in Keswick at this time of year on the run-up to Christmas.

If there had been an outside tap, I’d have given it 11 out of 10! No real storage for our items in the kitchen, but as it was massive with lots of counter space that didn’t matter. There were hooks on the back of the bathroom door (a rarity), tongs in the utensils drawer (another rarity), and for the first time ever in many years of holiday cottages, there were bath sheets, not bath towels! The walk to Keswick from the property through the woods was ideal for the dog, especially passing the park on the way, and the way along the old railway was nice. The property was clean, nicely furnished, and very cosy.

Scots Pine is the most fantastic place to stay. It is perfectly situated to enable easy access to Keswick and the surrounding area. It is warm and cosy and the beds really comfortable. The kitchen contains everything you could possibly need for a self-catering holiday. The hot water is plentiful. There are walks from the doorstep. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough and would definitely return.

Wonderful cottage, just a short walk from Keswick town centre. So easy to do great walks straight from the door, we only used our car once! Cottage best equipped we have ever stayed in, perfect in every way. Lovely paved small garden where we were able to enjoy a few warm sunny evenings, very dog friendly.

We’ve stayed in many cottages in the Lakes and this is the best one of them all. Home from home doesn’t cover it at all – it’s better than that. Everything is perfect, from the beautiful furnishings and comfy beds to the peaceful elevated location. Julia is the perfect host; from the minute we got there her only aim was to make sure our stay was perfect and it definitely was. We came as guests and left with two new friends in Julia and John.

Stayed at Scots Pine over the New Year. Owner couldn’t have been more helpful, and very good instructions provided for the equipment which was excellent. Everything was spotless less clean. So many thoughtful touches provided, from dressing gowns, and bathroom accessories to sweets, cake, tea and coffee. We had a relaxing stay and made use of the Games, DVD’s and books in the evenings. A throughly good week – with walks from the doorstep.
